Who We Are
Anne Goodrich (Founder)
I am a corporate strategist, marketing professional, problem solver, education junkie, and mother. After two decades running strategic marketing and business development for numerous high tech consumer businesses, I turned my focus to the education front.
In developing my unique approach to college consulting for College Made Clear, I pulled from my fifteen years of experience as an advisor to Georgetown University's Alumni Admissions Program, interviewing and analyzing high school applicants for admission to Georgetown. I use my broad educational experience (B.S. from Georgetown University in International Finance, M.B.A. from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, A.A. in Baking & Pastry Arts from the Culinary Institute of America and a Certificate in College Admissions and Counseling with Distinction from the University of California, Los Angeles) to connect with students looking to explore the variety of academic options available to them. And my corporate business experience allows me to bridge the gap between executive suites and ivy walls to assist students in translating their educational goals into real world career plans.
But above all, clarity is my superpower. I am a research junkie and I love organizing information and presenting it in a simple way so that students have clear steps, a path and good tools along the way.
I understand the nuances and complexities of the college landscape and I help students and parents filter out the noise to focus on what is truly important to their journey:
What schools will fit me best?
How can I present myself most authentically and successfully?
How can I make it affordable?
How do I make the most of my college years?
